Thru all my classes in this subject:
- I learned on major applications of technology used in information management and issues affecting their implementation. There is many technology implemented, such as web 2.0, digital library, and open access. I understand the relationship between software, hardware and communications components of information systems. Now I able to evaluate the suitability of different technology components for information management. Utilize appropriate selection criteria for automating particular library operations and learnt on various features of an integrated library information system.
Learnt how to design and develop databases using relational database management system and text retrieval systems. Experience using MS access , KOHA and many software’s .
