Significant Learning Experience

Upon completion of the course, I, as the student should have learnt to be able to:

1. Identify major applications of technology used in information management and issues affecting their implementation.
2. Demonstrate competencies in some widely used software applications in managing information
3. Utilize appropriate selection criteria for automating particular library operations.
4. Describe and differentiate the functions of the various features of an integrated library information system.
5. Design and develop databases using relational database management system and text retrieval systems.
